Step by step

Go to tv.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID

Click your name in the top right → Settings

Under Subscriptions, find Apple TV+ and click Manage

Click Cancel Subscription and confirm

On iPhone / iPad

Open iOS Settings and tap your name at the top

Tap Subscriptions

Find Apple TV+ and tap it

Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm

Before you cancel

💡Apple TV+ has no pause feature — once cancelled, you lose access immediately at the end of your billing period. Consider downgrading to the ad-supported tier instead if you want to keep some content access.

💡Your watchlist and continue-watching progress are saved indefinitely — they will be restored if you resubscribe within any timeframe, unlike competitors.

💡Check if you subscribed via Apple One bundle (includes iCloud+, Apple Music, or Apple Fitness+) — cancelling only removes Apple TV+ and keeps other services active.

What happens to your account

After cancellation

Your Apple TV+ account remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that date, you lose access to all content immediately. Your watchlists, continue-watching progress, and profile data are saved indefinitely and restored automatically if you resubscribe.

When billing stops

Apple stops billing you when you confirm cancellation. You will not be charged again. There is no pro-rata refund for any unused days in the current billing period.

How to reactivate

To reactivate, return to tv.apple.com or iOS Settings and restart your subscription. Your watchlists and continue-watching data are automatically restored immediately — Apple TV+ does not delete this data after cancellation.

Go to tv.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID, or open iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

Find Apple TV+ and tap Subscribe or Manage

Choose your plan (with ads or ad-free)

Confirm your payment method
